BRAVO!—Thousand Oaks High School seniors Matthew Michalek and Sami Johnson, shown at right, recently led a concert at Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. They each composed and arranged music for the April 12 show, which was presented to an audience of over 250 inside the Scherr Forum Theatre. Matthew conducted the band and Sami conducted the orchestra. The seniors are in the Center for Advanced Studies and Research at TOHS, a program of advanced, college-prep coursework.
