Local foundation launches national ‘Mend a Broken Heart’ month

My Stuff Bags Foundation is sponsoring the inaugural national Mend a Broken Heart Month in February.

The foundation is asking groups and individuals to serve foster children and other American children in crisis by raising awareness, donating toys and other items, and volunteering through local organizations.

My Stuff Bags is a nonprofit organization which provides individual duffel bags filled with new belongings to rescued abused, neglected and abandoned children entering shelters. Bags are filled with toys, toiletries, a stuffed animal, clothing and a blanket for the children, who have virtually no possessions.
