Fall Harvest on the Farm

Underwood Family Farms celebrates the season with a giant pumpkin patch, tractor-drawn wagon rides, a corn maze, hay pyramids, giant spiders, photo ops and Farmer Craig’s Chicken Show. Christ the King Pumpkin Patch

The patch is open for picking daily through Oct. 31 at this Lutheran church, 3947 W. Kimber Drive, Newbury Park. Special events include a Pumpkin Festival (2 to 6 p.m. Oct. 30). Harvest Night

Ventura County Greek Festival

Opa! Celebrate all things Greek— Greek food, Greek music, Greek dancing—during this annual festival presented by St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. Nights of the Jack

Sip hot cider or a seasonal cocktail before venturing down a 2/3-mile trail into an immersive Halloween experience that’s spooky but never scary. Santa Paula GhostWalk

Venture into the dark corners of Ebell Park and meet ghosts from the past as they regale you with stories of their lives in the Santa Clara River Valley. The one-hour tours, presented by Santa Paula Theater Center,

Reign of Terror Haunted House

‘Gifted’

From 1919 to 1956, the senior class of Gardena High School selected, purchased and donated works of art to the school, ultimately amassing an exceptional collection of paintings in the impressionist, figurative and landscape genres. Save LA Cougar’s sixth annual P-22 festival not only celebrates the life of the mountain lion that roams around Los Angeles’ Griffith Park but it celebrates people and wildlife coexisting across the world.
