UNUSUAL OCCUPATION—Bo Slyapich is a snake wrangler from Calabasas. He recently captured this pregnant Pacific rattlesnake on a property east of Conejo Valley in Las Virgenes. Healthy females can give birth to up to 20 baby rattlers. They only stay with their mothers for about a week before venturing out on their own. Slyapich removes unwanted snakes for homeowners and other property owners.
