The event was last week at the Masonic Temple in Thousand Oaks on Crescent Way at Thousand Oaks Boulevard. Shewman, a Camarillo resident, is a charter member of the Soroptimist of the Conejo, which was founded in 1983. Soroptimist helps projects that advance human rights and especially the status of women.
