Photos by BILL SPARKES/Acorn Newspapers FATAL ACCIDENT-An investigation continues into a traffic collision that occurred on at 5:05 p.m. Mon., April 3 on Thousand Oaks Boulevard, west of Rancho Road. At least four vehicles were involved, one a parked car. Marolyne Morrison, 54, a Colorado resident, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. She was driving westbound on Thousand Oaks Boulevard in a Ford Explorer, above, with her mother, Carmen Gomez, in the passenger seat. Their vehicle was hit by the Ford Expedition, below, driven by Felicia Floriano of Thousand Oaks. Speed and possibly road rage might have been factors. The driver of a black newer model Honda or BMW driven by a white female has contacted authorities. She may have been a factor in the collision. Anyone who may have witnessed this collision or who might have useful information is asked to call the city's traffic bureau at (805) 494-8271.
