Strawberry Alarm Clock, the psychedelic rock band best known for its 1967 No. 1 hit “Incense and Peppermints,” will perform at 6 and 8 p.m. Sun., July 23 at Bogies, 32001 Agoura Road, Westlake Village.

All six original members will be present: George Bunnell, Gene Gunnels, Mark S. Weitz, Randy Seol, Howie Anderson and Steve Bartek.

Strawberry Alarm Clock’s debut album, also named “Incense and Peppermints,” reached No 11 on Billboard’s top albums chart.

The band charted four other songs including the Top 25 single “Tomorrow” in 1968.

Strawberry Alarm Clock appeared on “American Bandstand,” “Happening ’68,” “The Steve Allen Show” and the first episode of “Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In.”

They also performed as themselves in the 1968 movie “Psych-Out” and in 1970’s “Beyond the Valley of the Dolls.”
