Country, rock show serves as kickoff for RFL
Give Cancer the Boot is Friday at Borderline
The second annual Give Cancer the Boot benefit concert, a kickoff for next month’s Conejo Valley Relay For Life, will be Fri., April 21 at Borderline Bar, 99 Rolling Oaks Drive, Thousand Oaks. Doors open at 7 p.m.
The Hannah Rose Band and Phil Lachina’s Three Rivers Band will perform country western and classic rock music. The bands have donated their time to play.
All ages are welcome. Cowboy attire is suggested.
The funds raised by Conejo Valley Relay For Life help to pay for the programs, services and research of the American Cancer Society. ACS programs and services available in the Conejo Valley include lodging for cancer patients, free rides to treatment and workshops that teach beauty techniques to people with cancer.
