AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION— Labak the Magician guides Gabriel Fergesen, 10, of Agoura Hills through a trick during “Mysteries of Magic,” a special event Jan. 7 at the Westlake Village Civic Center. The event was part of Westlake Village Reads: One City, One Book, a two-month long program centered around reading.
