Oct. 6

A 23-year-old man was arrested near W. Hillcrest Drive and Paseo Grande for being on drugs and possessing methamphetamine.

Oct. 7

A residential burglary was reported in the 2900 block of Cottonwood Court.

Oct. 8

A citation was issued to a 55-yearold man for hit-and-run after he struck a mailbox in the 3300 block of Erinlea Avenue.

Oct. 9

Police booked a 47-year-old man into jail after he was found under the influence of drugs near the 200 block of Greenmeadow Drive.

A 30-year-old man was arrested in the 200 block of N. Reino Road after police noticed he had two different plates on his vehicle. The man was also driving on a suspended license.

Oct. 10

A man, 28, was arrested for being under the influence of drugs in the 900 block of Vivian Court. The man also tried to bring drugs into the jail.

Police arrested a 22-year-old man during the course of a traffic stop near Jerome Avenue and Tipperary Lane for being under the influence of drugs and attempting to conceal his identity.

Oct. 6

Police apprehended a 32-yearold woman in the 100 block of W. Gainsborough Road for driving under the influence of alcohol and having a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or greater.

Oct. 7

A 68-year-old man was contacted by police in reference to someone exposing their genitals in public in the 3100 block of Willow Lane. A search of his vehicle yielded drug paraphernalia, pills, heroin and a

false registration tag. He was not charged with indecent exposure.

A man described as a “John Doe” was arrested in the 400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

Oct. 8

Police arrested a 38-year-old woman after she battered her husband in the 2200 block of Rusticpark Court.

A woman, 26, was booked for reporting a false bomb threat in the 100 block of S. Rancho Road. A 21-year-old man was taken to jail after he was found near N. Moorpark Road and E. Hillcrest Drive driving under the influence of alcohol.

Oct. 9

A 20-year-old man and a 19-yearold woman were arrested in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue for being under the influence of drugs.

A 19-year-old man was arrested for causing more than $400 in damage to someone’s property in the 300 block of Encino Vista Drive.

Police found a 42-year-old man in the 3100 block of White Cedar Place too intoxicated to care for himself.

A man, 57, was arrested for striking his wife in the 3500 block of Quarzo Circle.

A 77-year-old woman reported that someone had burglarized her home in the 200 block of Villa Circle.

A fire was started at Vons in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road. No arrests were made.

Oct. 10

A man, 51, attempted to buy a vehicle in the 3600 block of Auto Mall Drive using stolen personal information. During the course of his arrest, police discovered he had fake ID cards in his possession.

A 19-year-old man was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon in the 100 block of Prentiss Street after he stabbed another man.

A man and woman, both 23, were arrested for being on drugs in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

Oct. 11

Two men, 31 and 30, were arrested in the 200 block of E. Hillcrest Drive when they were attempting to burglarize a home; the older man was on parole.

During the course of a mutual aid call with Children and Family Services in the 400 block of W. Avenida de Las Flores, police arrested a 34-year-old man for being under the influence and in possession of drugs.

A 33-year-old man said his house in the 200 block of Green Heath Place was burglarized.

A house in the 3000 block of Foothill Drive was burglarized.

Oct. 6

The Westlake Bay Homeowners Association in the 1100 block of S. Westlake Boulevard reported that its property had been vandalized.
