St. Paschal’s presents carnival
St. Paschal Men’s Club will host the Fall Fest carnival and food booths Fri. through Sat., Oct. 25 through 27 at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church at Janss and Moorpark roads, Thousand Oaks.
Hours are 6 to 11 p.m. Friday, 1 to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.
The Fall Fest will have food, carnival rides, auctions, music, carnival game booths and a raffle for a 2014 BMW X1 or $25,000 in cash.
Admission to the festival is free. Raffle tickets can be purchased on site or in advance at www.spbfestival.com.
The club is made up of men from parish families, the parish school and the community. Members promote charitable events and organizations that support community needs in the spirit of Christian fellowship.
The men’s club meets at 6:30 p.m. on the first Monday of each month in the parish hall.
Community invited to fall festival
The community is invited to a fall festival from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Sat., Oct. 19 on the patio of the United Methodist Church of Westlake Village, 1049 S. Westlake Blvd.
Admission is free for the activities, which include a petting zoo, pony rides, a bounce house and pumpkin carving.
A pulled pork dinner with all the fixings will be served. Dinner prices are $7 for ages 13 and older and $5 for ages 4 through 12.
