Financial consulting firm launched in T.O.

Jeffrey Solomon, a Thousand Oaks resident, has recently launched CFO On The Go, a financial, administrative and operational consulting practice focused on small businesses and headquartered in Thousand Oaks.

As a fractional CFO consulting practice, CFO On The Go provides small businesses the opportunity to benefit from C-Level financial management while not bearing the cost of employing a full-time CFO.

CFO On The Go addresses several entrepreneurial needs including controlling of costs, relieving the owner of administrative duties, allowing the owner to concentrate on growth activities and planning for longterm, strategic growth.

Solomon has a MBA from California Lutheran University. He has 25 years of practical, operational business experience.

UCSB now teaching project management

UC Santa Barbara Extended Learning Services was approved by the Project Management Institute to become a registered education provider.

PMI REPs are educational organizations that have demonstrated they are capable of providing world-class effective project management training.

Project management skills are a critical tool for most careers and industries. UCSB Extension’s PMI-approved courses enable students to acquire the skills needed to keep projects on task, on time and on budget.

There are more than 1,400 REPs in more than 70 countries.

These organizations include commercial training providers that design complete educational systems, academic institutions, internal training offices at corporations and government agencies.

Cisco’s to host evening mixer

The Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce will host a Networking at Night Mixer from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wed., May 16 at Cisco’s Westlake Village, 925 S. Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village.

The event will have live entertainment as well as complimentary appetizers and refreshments.

The cost is $5 for Chamber members and $15 for nonmembers. Pay at the door; no reservations are required.
