Cardiologists from Los Robles Hospital to speak

In recognition of Heart Month, Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center will present a free seminar, “Heart Disease: Prevention, Treatments and Management,” from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sat., Feb. 18 at the Reagan Library, 40 Presidential Drive, Simi Valley.

Drs. Fraidon Azizi, Vishva Dev, Mohammad Gharavi, Michael Papanicolaou and Leo Polosajian will be the featured speakers.

The cardiologists will discuss causes and risk factors of heart disease; diet, nutritional and lifestyle interventions; early assessment and diagnostic methods including stress tests, coronary calcium scans and noninvasive angiography; treatment options including angioplasty and stents; electrophysiology and irregular heartbeats; and preventive strategies to minimize risks.

A complimentary continental breakfast will be served.
