Camp Bow Wow Agoura Hills and Labs & Buddies Rescue will host a dog adoption event from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Sat., Jan. 28 at the camp, 29348 Roadside Drive, Agoura Hills.

Labs & Buddies Rescue is a nokill organization committed to saving all types of Labrador retrievers, Lab mixes and other mixed breeds.

This month’s adoption will include Lab mix puppies from two different litters who are 4 to 5 months old, and Princess Diana, a purebred black Lab between 2 and 3 years old.

Labs & Buddies trainer Pete Rodrigues will be on hand to answer questions and offer basic advice and training tips for prospective pooch parents. Camp Bow Wow’s certified camp counselors will be available to answer questions and conduct tours of the facility.

The typical adoption fee for Labs & Buddies is $300, which covers the cost of vaccinations, sterilization and any needed medical attention. All proceeds from the dog adoptions go toward the rescue, medical care and boarding of dogs.
