A computer was stolen from a residence in the 1600 block of Fox Springs between Sept. 10 and Oct. 4.

Money was taken from news stands in the 2100 block of Newbury Road, 3400 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard and the 400 block of E. Wilbur Road between Oct. 3 and 6.

A woman, 32, was cited for petty theft in the 800 block of Lawrence Drive Sept. 22.

A window was broken and $250 in property stolen from a vehicle on Borchard Road Oct. 2.

A thief stole less than $950 in property from a vehicle in the 100 block of Hope Road between Oct. 4 and 5.

A vandal spray painted gang graffiti, causing more than $400 in damage to a homeowners association in the 1700 block of Calle Diamonte between Oct. 4 and 5.

A window was broken and property stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of Glen Oaks Drive Oct. 9.

A 25-year-old man was arrested Oct. 13 for failing to secure a child in a car seat in the 500 block of S. Reino Road. The child fell out of the moving vehicle and was injured.

A 70-year-old man was arrested for battery in the 1100 block of Turtle Creek Lane Oct. 16.

A man, 69, was arrested for battering his wife in the 1300 block of Newbury Road Oct. 18.

Four people were cited or arrested for drug violations between Oct. 6 and 18.

Thousand Oaks

People forged checks at Vons grocery store on N. Moorpark Road from October 2008 through September 2011.

Property was stolen from a garage in the 1400 block of Outlake Circle between Sept. 4 and Oct. 9.

Identification information was stolen from the 1200 block of Canyon Rim Circle between Sept. 15 and 29 and used to obtain credit. The theft was reported Oct. 6.

A vandal caused $15,000 in damage to the youth room of a church in the first block of W. Avenida de Los Arboles between Sept. 30 and Oct. 4.

A man, 31, was arrested Oct. 7 for burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime in the 2000 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

A bicycle was stolen from a garage in the 2800 block of Venezia Lane between Oct. 6 and 9.

A bicycle was stolen from a garage in the 2900 block of Queens Way between Oct. 6 and 9.

One or more vandals caused more than $ 400 in damage to property in the 2700 block of Amberwood Place and $600 in damage to property in the 2700 block of Teller Road Oct. 7.

A shoplifter stole items from Sports Authority on W. Westlake Boulevard Oct. 7.

A residence in the 100 block of Navajo Avenue was burglarized Oct. 7.

A vandal caused $400 in spray paint damage to property in the 800 block of St. Charles Drive between Oct. 7 and 10.

A woman, 33, was cited for a hitand run traffic collision on Hillcrest Drive near Avenida de La Plata Oct. 8.

A storage box was stolen from the 400 block of Tuolumne Avenue Oct. 8.

A 22-year-old man was arrested

for stealing and forging his father’s checks and for drug violations in the 2600 block of Mohawk Avenue Oct. 8.

A man, 23, was arrested for vandalism, elder abuse and being under the influence of a controlled substance in the 100 block of Teasdale Street Oct. 8.

A thief ate food but did not pay for it at a restaurant in the first block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard Oct. 9.

A 39- year- old woman was arrested for battering her live-in boyfriend in the 1500 block of Charterwood Court Oct. 10.

A burglar stole property from Sears department store on W. Hillcrest Drive Oct. 10.

Two men, 22 and 23, and a woman, 20, were arrested for burglary in the 1600 block of Sweet Briar Place Oct. 11. The 22-year-old man was also arrested for possession of drug syringes and the 23-year-old man on an outstanding warrant.

A man, 23, was arrested for illegal entry of a dwelling in the 800 block of Yorkshire Avenue Oct. 12. He was also arrested for vandalizing police property at the station.

A 74-year-old woman was cited for failing to obtain identification from a seller in the 1600 block of E Thousand Oaks Boulevard Oct. 12.

A man, 43, was cited for failing to obtain identification from a seller in the 800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard Oct. 12.

A woman, 19, was cited for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and smoking marijuana in a car with juveniles present in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive Oct. 14.

A 50- year- old woman was arrested for stealing a vehicle from a parking lot in the 300 block of E. Wilbur Road Oct. 14. A 38-year-old man was arrested for possession of a concealed knife.

A man, 26, was cited for battery and vandalism that allegedly occurred in the 500 block of Laurie Lane Oct. 15.

A 39-year-old man was arrested for battering his wife in the 600 block of Hampshire Road Oct. 15.

A 24-year-old man was arrested for public intoxication after passing out in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road Oct. 16.

A man, 56, was cited for battery in the 3700 block of Danmount Court Oct. 17.

Eleven people were cited or arrested for drug violations, 10 people for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and three people for drinking alcohol in public between Oct. 6 and 18.

Vehicle burglaries, break-ins and vandalism occurred between Oct. 5 and 8 in the 2700 block of

Great Smokey Court; Oct. 6 in the 2700 block of Teller Road; between Oct. 6 and 7 in the 2700

block of Great Smokey Court and the 1300 block of Feather Avenue.
