Newbury Park

A male, 31, battered and injured his ex-girlfriend around 10:25 a.m. Nov. 3 in the 100 block of N. Castilian Avenue. The subject, who was under the influence of a controlled substance and possessed two used syringes, also broke the woman’s cellphone when she attempted to call 911.

A female, 41, was arrested for committing battery with injury at 10:50 a.m. Nov. 3 in the 100 block of Castilian Avenue.

A male, 35, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at 1:55 a.m. Nov. 5 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a male, 39, at 11 p.m. Oct. 29 in the 1300 block of Newbury Road; two 19-year-old females at 10:45 p.m. Oct. 30 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (one subject lied to police about her identity).

A male, 44, battered his wife around 9 p.m. Oct. 31 in the 3900 block of Kimber Drive. The subject’s actions violated a domestic violence restraining order.

A male, 54, battered and injured someone he’s dating at 11:28 p.m. Nov. 3 in the 1300 block of Newbury Road.

A battery occurred between 2 and 2:23 p.m. Nov. 3 in the 1000 block of Via Rafael.

A burglary occurred at Conejo Adventist Elementary School at 1250 Academy Drive on Oct. 30 or 31.

A home burglary occurred between 1:21 and 1:25 p.m. Nov. 3 in the 3300 block of Peppermint Street.

Vehicle break-ins occurred at the following locations: on Oct. 30 or 31 in the 1700 block of Crystal View Circle; between 2:30 and 2:35 a.m. Nov. 2 in the 3300 block of Michael Drive; between 10 and 11 a.m. Oct. 30 in the 3700 block of Old Conejo Road; between 10:15 and 11:10 a.m. Oct. 30 in the 3700 block of Old Conejo Road; on Oct. 30 or 31 in the 3700 block of Old Conejo Road (four separate incidents and vehicles).

A vehicle was vandalized on Nov. 1 or 2 in the first block of Donald Avenue.

A vehicle window was broken on Oct. 29 in the 400 block of Walter Street.

Property was stolen between Oct. 29 and Nov. 1 in the 3000 block of Old Conejo Road.

For lying to police about his identity and selling food without a permit, a male, 23, was arrested at 5:40 p.m. Oct. 30 in the 600 block of Paseo Esmeralda.

A male, 21, was arrested for possessing a fake identification card at 3:55 a.m. Nov. 2 at Michael and N. Wendy drives.

A male, 27, was cited for drinking beer in public at 10:25 p.m. Oct. 22 in the 600 block of Paseo Esmeralda.

Thousand Oaks

A robbery occurred at Pacific Western Bank at 550 N. Moorpark Road between 11:15 and 11:20 a.m. Nov. 4.

A 67-year-old male used a 5- pound metal bar to choke someone and swing the weapon at another person around 7:20 a.m. Nov. 1 in the 200 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. He was arrested later that morning in the 2600 block of Briarwood Place.

Two unknown males battered someone between 11:53 and 11:58 a.m. Nov. 4 in the 3000 block of Los Feliz Drive.

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 26, at 2:05 a.m. Nov. 4 in the 2500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a male, 25, at 8:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at Hampshire and Townsgate roads (subject involved in singlevehicle crash); a male, 43, at 2:45 a.m. Oct. 30 at Avenida de Las Flores and Moorpark Road; a male, 28, at 11:55 a.m. Oct. 30 in the 600 block of Glen Oaks Road (subject left the scene of traffic collision).

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a male, 19, at 2:20 a.m. Nov. 3 in the 1000 block of Old Farm Road; a male, 21, and female, 20, at 10:11 p.m. Nov. 1 in the first block of W. McAfee Court; a female, 24, at 11 a.m. Oct. 31 in the first block of Conejo Boulevard (Quality Inn 12 block (subject also possessed drug paraphernalia); a male, 19, at 9:40 a.m. Dec. 12, 2009, at Witherspoon Drive and Avenida Verano; a male, 25, at 4:45 a.m. Nov. 2 at Yorkshire Avenue and Wilbur Road.

A male, 20, battered someone at 11:15 p.m. Nov. 2 in the first block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A male, 38, battered someone he’s dating around 3:19 p.m. Oct. 29 in the 200 block of Almon Drive. The subject also burned that person’s property.

A female, 57, battered and injured her husband at 8:18 p.m. Oct. 29 in the 3000 block of Hollycrest Avenue.

A male, 45, committed a battery at 5:25 p.m. Oct. 22 in the 1600 block of Charterwood Court.

A male, 22, was cited for sexual battery at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 2 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road. The crime occurred in the 3200 block of S. Campus Drive.

A female, 40, was arrested for domestic battery at 12:20 a.m. Oct. 31 in the 2300 block of Pleasant Way.

A male, 30, committed a battery around 8 a.m. Sept. 20 in the 2100 block of N. Westlake Boulevard. He was arrested Nov. 1.

Two males, 25 and 20, and a female, 23, were arrested for possessing a large quantity of Ecstasy pills, possibly for sale, around 6 p.m. Nov. 3 at Westland Avenue and Mapleknoll Place.

A male, 30, was arrested for possessing drug paraphernalia, Xanax without a prescription and marijuana at 11:15 a.m. Oct. 31 in the first block of Conejo Boulevard. The subject was also under the influence of a controlled substance.

A male, 19, was arrested at 4:40 p.m. Nov. 3 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive for stealing money and merchandise from a store where he worked.

A male, 19, was cited for petty theft at 3:15 p.m. Nov. 1 in the 1800 block of Avenida de Las Flores.

A male, 22, failed to return a rented vehicle and was arrested Nov. 2 at the East County Sheriff’s Station.

A male, 19, was cited for possessing a switchblade knife around 10:15 p.m. Nov. 3 at N. Moorpark and Janss roads.

A home burglary occurred on Nov. 3 or 4 in the 1100 block of Windsor Drive.

A ring was stolen from a home between Aug. 15 and Sept. 15 in the 2800 block of Westham Circle. The crime was recently reported.

A CVS Pharmacy at 60 N. Moorpark Road was burglarized between 2:10 and 2:20 p.m. Nov. 3.

A garage door was vandalized between 10:30 a.m. and noon Nov. 3 in the 700 block of Paige Lane.

A shoplifting occurred at Vons at 2048 E. Avenida de Los Arboles around 11:30 p.m. Oct. 31.

A male, 23, failed to pay for a cab ride from Camarillo to Thousand Oaks, and he was arrested at 4 a.m. Oct. 31 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Vehicle break-ins occurred at the following locations: on Nov. 3 or 4 in the 500 block of Oak Tree Lane (attempt); on Oct. 30 or 31 in the 700 block of Woodlawn Drive; between 9:10 and 9:17 p.m. Nov. 3 near the 300 block of Hodencamp Road; between 4 and 4:15 p.m. Nov. 1 in the 1700 block of Moorpark Road.

A vandal threw a rock and shattered a $2,000 windshield of a new car at the Scion dealership at 2321 E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard on Oct. 31 or Nov. 1.

Vehicle tires were punctured on Nov. 3 or 4 in the 1400 block of Reynolds Court.

A vehicle was vandalized on Oct. 30 or 31 in the 700 block of Calle Margarita.

A male, 33, was arrested for tampering with a vehicle at 7:30 a.m. Oct. 31 in the 700 block of Calle Margarita.

A thief obtained $1,975 by false pretenses between Nov. 25 and Dec. 9, 2009, in the 600 block of Calle Tulipan. The crime was recently reported.

Graffiti defaced property in the 21000 block of E. Avenida de Las Flores between Oct. 14 and 22.

A bathroom stall was vandalized with graffiti on Oct. 29 at the Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library at 1401 E. Janss Road.

Two sidewalks in the city were defaced with graffiti on Oct. 28 or 29.

Spray-painted graffiti marred property on Oct. 31 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Big Sky Drive.

Graffiti defaced a common driveway wall in the 800 block of Rancho Road on Oct. 31.

Annoying telephone calls were made on Oct. 28 and 29 to a home in the 2500 block of Vista Wood Circle.

A male, 20, was arrested for disorderly conduct and possessing a controlled substance at 4:35 p.m. Oct. 30 in the 1700 block of Fox Springs Circle.

A female, 21, was arrested for being drunk in public at 1:05 a.m. Oct. 31 in the 200 block of Moorpark Road.

The following subjects were cited for drinking alcohol in public: a male, 48, at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 22 at Avenida de Las Plantas and Avenida de Los Arboles; a male, 38, and female, 54, at 10:55 p.m. Oct. 22 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue; a male, 25, at 11:30 p.m. Oct. 22 in the 200 block of Erbes Road.

A male, 55, was arrested for being drunk in public and possessing a small amount of marijuana at 11:12 a.m. Nov. 4 in the 2700 block of Agoura Road.

A male, 51, was arrested for being drunk in public at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 2 in the first block of Via Colinas.

A male, 41, exposed his private parts around 8:55 p.m. Oct. 31 in the 900 block of Triunfo Canyon Road.

A grand theft occurred between July 30 and Sept. 22 in the 3100 block of Willow Lane. The crime was recently reported.

A rash of six vehicle break-ins occurred on Oct. 29 or 30 in the 900 block of Westlake Boulevard.
