A male, 49, battered his spouse at 7:38 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 2800 block of Denise Street.

During a disturbance between a landlord and an evicted tenant, a female, 44, backed her vehicle into a garage door, and she was suspected of stealing an iPod. The subject was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 31 in the 700 block of Camino Del Sol.

Property was vandalized at Newbury Park High School on Aug. 25 or 26.

A laptop computer was stolen from an office between Aug. 20 and 23 in the 300 block of Via Las Brisas.

A grand theft occurred between Aug. 29 and 31 in the 3400 block of Melvin Court.

Property was stolen from a garage between Aug. 29 and Sept. 1 in the first block of Ocatillo Avenue.

A shoplifting occurred at Target, 2705 Teller Road, around 5:50 p.m. Aug. 29.

Thieves siphoned $175 in gas between July 1 and Aug. 30 in the 1400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A vehicle was vandalized ($200 in damage) on Sept. 1 in the 1100 block of Homestake Place.

A vehicle was damaged (more than $400 in damage) on Aug. 31 or Sept. 1 in the 600 block of American Oaks Avenue.

A truck tailgate was stolen between Aug. 27 and 30 in the 1100 block of Ramona Drive.

A thief stole $700 in bicycle equipment from a vehicle on Aug. 29 or 30 in the 300 block of Greenway Avenue.

Five males between the ages of 23 and 26 were cited for drinking alcohol in public at 1:15 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 600 block of Paseo Esmeralda.

Thousand Oaks

An intoxicated 18-year-old male took someone’s vehicle and crashed into a parked car. While leaving the scene of the accident, he collided with a second vehicle. The subject was arrested at 2:55 a.m. Aug. 27 at Fairview Road and Crescent Way.

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a female, 48, at 11:14 p.m. Aug. 27 along Westlake Boulevard, south of Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a male, 33, at 3:19 a.m. Aug. 31 at Westlake Boulevard and Potrero Road (subject also possessed a controlled substance); a male, 62, at 5:20 p.m. Aug. 31 at Hillcrest Drive and the 23 Freeway (subject involved in an injury collision); a female, 43, at 2:15 a.m. Aug. 29 at Westlake Boulevard and Deep Wood Drive.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a male, 27, at 2:50 p.m. Sept. 2 along Donnick Avenue, west of Hendrix Drive (subject was high on heroin, and he possessed heroin and a smoking device); a male, 23, at 1:28 a.m. Sept. 1 at Hampshire Road and Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a male, 21, at 10:46 p.m. Sept. 1 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road; a female, 40, at 2:20 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 200 block of N. Verde Vista Drive; a male, 22, at 4:07 p.m. Aug. 27 in the 2100 block of Calle Nardo.

A 48-year-old female battered her elderly mother at 11:08 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 1300 block of Avenida de Los Arboles.

A female, 31, battered and injured someone at 9:15 p.m. Aug. 27 in the 200 block of Houston Drive.

A male, 27, battered and injured someone at 6:42 p.m. Aug. 31 in the 300 block of Rolling Oaks Drive.

Two 44-year-old males committed a battery at 3:34 p.m. Aug. 29 in the 600 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A male, 18, was arrested for breaking into a vehicle, stealing property and using a stolen credit card to purchase items at 2:50 p.m. Sept. 1 in the 3100 block of Clarita Court.

A female, 18, was arrested for burglary at 5 p.m. Sept. 1 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road.

A male, 19, was arrested for breaking into a vehicle at 4:55 p.m. Sept. 1 at Hampshire and Townsgate roads.

For stealing money from a business over a period of time in the first block of N. Rancho Road, a male, 30, was arrested on Aug. 31 at the East County Sheriff’s Station.

A home burglary occurred between 2 and 7 p.m. Sept. 1 in the 1800 block of Los Feliz Drive.

A home was burglarized between Aug. 14 and 19 in the 2100 block of Marsh Brook Court.

A grand theft occurred between Aug. 27 and 30 in the 1400 block of Calle Violeta.

A grand theft ($1,349 in damage) occurred between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. Aug. 30 in the 1200 block of La Jolla Drive.

Outgoing mail was stolen from a mailbox between 12:50 and 1 p.m. Aug. 31 in the 3100 block of Darlington Drive. A similar crime occurred between 12:57 and 1 p.m. Aug. 31 in the 1200 block of Calle Castano.

A bicycle was stolen from the side of a home on Aug. 22 or 23 in the 2900 block of Avenida de Los Arboles.

Gang graffiti vandalized a wall between Aug. 28 and 30 in the 500 block of St. Charles Drive.

Gang graffiti was spray painted on property on Aug. 29 or 30 in the 200 block of Erbes Road.

Graffiti defaced property on Aug. 30 or 31 in the 300 block of Erbes Road.

A petty theft was attempted on Sept. 1 or 2 in the 3500 block of N. Campus Drive.

A petty theft occurred between noon and 12:45 p.m. Aug. 21 in the 300 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Vandals sawed off three branches of a native oak tree between Aug. 26 and 30 in the 700 block of Beall Street.

A male, 18, was arrested for obstructing justice at 2:50 a.m. Aug. 31 in the 200 block of Triunfo Canyon Road.

A female, 19, was cited for shoplifting at 4:20 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 18, was cited for shoplifting from J.C. Penney, 280 W. Hillcrest Drive, at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 28.

A $5,000 removable back seat of a GMC Yukon was stolen between Aug. 27 and 30 in the 2700 block of Autumn Ridge Drive.

A vandal caused $600 in damage to a vehicle between 5 and 5:30 p.m. Aug. 27 in the 2400 block of Calle Narciso.

A male, 27, committed a hitand run traffic accident around 3:30 a.m. Aug. 21 in the 2600 block of Roca Avenue.

A female, 55, was arrested for trespassing at 8:20 a.m. Aug. 29 in the 10 block of Apache Avenue.

A 65-year-old male was cited for soliciting without a permit at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 2 at Royal Oaks Drive and Hampshire Road.

A male, 21, was cited for selling items from a pushcart without a permit at 5 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

A female, 38, was cited for vending without a license at 7:35 p.m. Aug. 27 in the 100 block of S. Oak View Drive.

A male, 49, was arrested for being drunk in public at 1 a.m. Aug. 30 in the 3600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. A male, 29, was arrested for a similar crime at 4:20 a.m. Aug. 29 in the 300 block of Galsworthy Street.

A male, 46, was cited for urinating in public at 10:10 p.m. Aug. 27 in the 800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard. A male, 45, was cited for the same crime at 11:30 p.m. Aug. 27 in the 100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Three males between the ages of 39 and 53 were cited for drinking alcohol in public at 12:55 p.m. Aug. 26 in the first block of S. Rancho Road. The same group of subjects was drinking in public at 1:35 p.m. the same day at the same location.

A male, 52, battered two people at 3:40 p.m. Aug. 28 in the 1000 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

A home was burglarized and vandalized between Aug. 28 and 30 in the 5500 block of Grey Feather Court.

A male, 20, passed a fictitious check and committed a grand theft around noon Aug. 9 in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard. He was arrested on Aug. 27.

A burglar smashed a passenger vehicle window and stole a purse between 11:30 and 11:45 a.m. Aug. 23 in the 900 block of Westlake Boulevard.

Property was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Aug. 29 or 30 in the 2300 block of Leeward Circle.

Graffiti defaced property on Aug. 27 or 28 in the 800 block of Lakefield Street.
