The Humane Society of Ventura County will have its fourth annual fundraiser, “Cats in the Canyon and Hounds in the Hollow,” from 2 to 5 p.m. Sun., Sept. 12 at Boccali’s restaurant, 3277 Ojai-Santa Paula Road, Ojai.

Proceeds will go to the private nonprofit organization’s animal shelter in Ojai.

The event will feature an Italian buffet, music by the Iron Mountain Boys bluegrass band and a silent auction.

Silent auction prizes include a seven-night stay in Hawaii, Channel Islands excursions from Island Packers, two airline tickets from Alaska Airlines and two tickets to the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza.

Attendees also will have the chance to visit with animals from the shelter.

Tickets purchased in advance are $40 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under. Tickets bought on site will be $50 and $25, respectively.
