The Conejo Recreation and Park District will have a grand opening for the Borchard Park Labyrinth and Fitness area at 11 a.m. Sat., Sept. 18 at Borchard Park, 190 Reino Road, Newbury Park.

Participants will hear a brief history and philosophy of the labyrinth as well as the health benefits of walking through the 60-foot diameter design.

There will also be a demonstration of the use of the three pieces of outdoor fitness equipment

The grand opening is free.
