Seminar will focus on arterial blockages
Peripheral arterial disease, or PAD, is a narrowing or blockage of the arteries that results in poor blood flow to your arms and legs. If leg muscles don’t get enough blood flow, it could result in painful leg cramps or pain when walking, which could be caused by PAD.
Dr. Trung D. Bui, vascular surgeon and endovascular specialist at Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center, will discuss the causes, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of PAD from 9 to 10 a.m. Thurs., Sept. 16 at The Oaks mall near Macy’s Home/Men’s department store on the lower level.
Reservations are not necessary. Morning refreshments are served.
The seminar is part of “Health Chat,” a free community outreach program sponsored the third and fourth Thursday of the month by Los Robles Hospital and The Oaks.
