It was another brilliant year for writers in the latest installment of Fiction in a Nutshell.

Entries included every genre; we had lighthearted, slice of life stories, while others were morbid or depressing. Some were scary, others humorous, still others mysterious, romantic or ironic.

Several were about dogs, two about cats, and others involved insects.

Dreams were the theme of several, and others were all dialogue.

Many had a twist at the end. There were 87 entries in the 18 and older category and 30 from younger people, a total of 117.

Thank you to everyone who participated. The winners will collect $50 for their work.
