My sister is a resident of Thunderbird Oaks Mobile Home Park. She’s been there about three years.

Since she retired from her job she’s had to budget herself very carefully to get by on her Social Security. A rent increase of $322 per month is totally out of the question.

How inhumane for the park owners to rip the rug out from under these people who cannot afford it. Her reason for moving there was because it felt secure, and she was never warned that this could happen.

Does the owner really need $52,000 more per month to survive?
