The Herman Bennett Foundation will offer a low-cost spay/neuter day for low-income Ventura County dog owners on Sun., Aug. 29 at the mobile spay/neuter clinic parked in the SPAN Thrift Store parking lot, 110 N. Olive St., Ventura.

The cost is $20, which includes the surgery, vaccines and a free microchip. Appointments are required by calling
