A robbery occurred in a guest room at the Palm Garden Hotel, 495 N. Ventu Park Road, at 9:15 p.m. Aug. 8.

A male, 41, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance for sale at 4:24 p.m. Aug. 5 at Corporate Center and Lawrence drives.

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 47, at 4:45 p.m. Aug. 10 along Michael Drive, east of Northam Avenue (subject involved in a single-vehicle accident); a female, 48, at 9:40 p.m. Aug. 11 at Kimber Drive and Reino Road; a female, 81, at 10 p.m. Aug. 6 in the 500 block of Barrington Court.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a female, 40, at 10 a.m. Aug. 12 in the 2400 block of Hillcrest Drive; a male, 38, at 4:45 p.m. Aug. 10 in the 100 block of Castilian Avenue; a male, 31, at 11:10 p.m. Aug. 10 in the 2700 block of Teller Road (subject also charged with petty theft with priors); a female, 31, at 11:20 a.m. Aug. 7 at Newbury Park High School (subject also charged with petty theft, theft of access card to obtain goods and possession of a stolen access card); a male, 18, at 8:10 a.m. Aug. 7 at Bella and Wendy drives (subject also possessed a controlled substance); a male, 25, at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road (subject was also involved in a hit-and-run traffic collision); a male, 24, at 7:25 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 200 block of Heather Ridge Avenue (subject possessed drug paraphernalia).

A male, 53, battered and injured his wife at 11:07 p.m. Aug. 6 in the 2300 block of Alice Ann Road. A female, 53, at the scene was arrested for domestic battery.

A male, 28, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance at 9:45 p.m. Aug. 6 in the 800 block of Wendy Drive.

A male, 19, was arrested Aug. 11 in the 1900 block of Newbury Road for stealing more than $950 from his employer over a threemonth period.

A male, 20, conspired with two other people to steal property from a business on Aug. 4 and 10. He was arrested at 5:52 p.m. Aug. 12 in the 2700 block of Teller Road.

A female, 18, was arrested for engaging in sexual acts for money at 3:45 p.m. Aug. 9 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road.

A female, 22, was arrested on a prostitution charge at 2:30 p.m. Aug. 9 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road.

A male, 33, was arrested for lying to police about his identity and receiving payment for soliciting prostitution at 2:10 p.m. Aug. 9 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road.

A male, 46, entered a building with the intent to steal property at 5:50 p.m. Aug. 9 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road.

A male, 51, was arrested for being drunk in public at 11:10 a.m. Aug. 12 in the 1200 block of Newbury Road.

Voter registration forms and petitions were stolen between 2 and 2:10 p.m. Aug. 6 in the 2700 block of Teller Road.

Gang graffiti defaced property in an open area north of Tioga Place between July 25 and Aug. 8.

A shoplifting occurred at Ralphs, 583 N. Ventu Park Road, between 5 and 5:10 p.m. Aug. 11.

Shoplifters stole property from Target, 2705 Teller Road, between 1:50 and 2 p.m. Aug. 8.

Vehicle break-ins occurred at the following locations: between Aug. 5 and 12 in the 100 block of Bluefield Avenue (unlocked); on Aug. 10 or 11 in the 4200 block of Via Cerritos (unlocked); on Aug. 9 or 10 in the 400 block of Knollwood Drive (unlocked); on Aug. 6 in the 100 block of Cathy Drive; on Aug. 7 or 8 in the 1100 block of Rancho Conejo Boulevard (two vehicles).

A vehicle was vandalized between Aug. 6 and 9 in the 3900 block of Kimber Drive.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a male, 43, at 9:45 a.m. Aug. 11 in the 1300 block of Calle Tulipan (subject resisted arrest); a male, 45, at 2:35 p.m. Aug. 10 in the 1300 block of El Cerritos Drive (subject was also charged with shooting a weapon at an inhabited building); a male, 20, at 11:03 a.m. Aug 9 in the 1200 block of Uppingham Drive; a male, 41, at 9:35 p.m. Aug. 9 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road; a female, 24, at 9:44 p.m. Aug. 6 in the 900 block of Witherspoon Drive (subject also possessed a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and hypodermic needles); a female, 21, at 3:45 p.m. Aug. 5 in the 1800 block of Los Feliz Drive (subject also possessed heroin and drugs without prescription); a female, 19, at 11:20 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road.

A male, 24, was arrested for possessing methamphetamine and heroin at 3:45 p.m. Aug. 5 in the 1800 block of Los Feliz Drive.

A male, 40, was arrested for elder abuse and petty theft at 10:55 a.m. Aug. 11 in the 1700 block of Aleppo Court.

A female, 63, stole more than $400 from her employer on May 17 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road. She was arrested on Aug. 10.

Home burglaries occurred at the following locations: on Aug. 11 in the 800 block of Greenwich Drive; on July 3 or 4 in the 1600 block of Fordham Avenue (recently reported); between July 12 and 23 along Calle Contento (recently reported); between July 27 and Aug. 3 in the 200 block of Siesta Avenue (garage); between July 16 and 25 in the 2700 block of Queens Way.

A business was burglarized between 1 and 2 a.m. Aug. 7 in the 1900 block of Montgomery Road.

A business burglary occurred on Aug. 5 or 6 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A burglary occurred between 10 and 10:30 a.m. Aug. 5 in the 200 block of Triunfo Canyon Road.

A grand theft occurred on Aug. 9 or 10 in the 3300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A male, 52, was cited for stealing property at 2:50 p.m. Aug. 7 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A female, 20, was cited for petty theft at 3:18 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 300 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Vehicle break-ins occurred at the following locations: between 9:55 and 10 a.m. Aug. 12 in the 2400 block of Willow Lane; between Aug. 6 and 9 in the 100 block of Windsong Street; on Aug. 8 or 9 in the 1000 block of Brookview Avenue (two vehicles); on Aug. 8 or 9 in the 600 block of Rosario Drive (two unlocked vehicles); on Aug. 8 or 9 in the 700 block of Paige Lane (unlocked); between 2 and 3:10 p.m. Aug. 1 at 24 Hour Fitness, 2595 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.; between 2:30 and 3:57 a.m. Aug. 7 in the 400 block of Avenida de Los Arboles; on Aug. 6 or 7 in the 2900 block of Calle Quebracho; between 3 and 6 p.m. Aug. 7 in the 100 block of E. Wilbur Road; between July 31 and Aug. 8 at the Racquet Club Villas neighborhood.

A vandal damaged a vehicle ($650) between Aug. 4 and 6 in the 3300 block of Holly Grove Street.

Vehicle tires were slashed between 1 and 1:30 a.m. Aug. 8 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

A male, 30, possessed marijuana and was drinking alcohol in public around 7:30 p.m. Aug. 7 in the 500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Packages were stolen from a front porch between July 23 and Aug. 6 in the 2300 block of Sunny Point Street.

A bicycle was stolen on Aug. 8 in the first block of E. Lucero Street.

A miscreant made threatening and vulgar telephone calls almost every day between June 1 and Aug. 11 to employees at Sbarro Pizza at The Oaks mall.

A vandal damaged $200 worth of property on Aug. 8 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

A burglar broke into a storage bin and stole construction tools and equipment between July 30 and Aug. 5 in the 300 block of N. Westlake Boulevard.

Property was vandalized on Aug. 3 or 4 in the 200 block of Erbes Road.

A female, 41, was arrested for being drunk in public at 5:10 p.m. Aug. 6 in the 600 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A male, 21, was cited for urinating in public at 2:28 a.m. Aug. 7 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A person was battered and injured by an unknown assailant between 3:30 and 4 a.m. Aug. 6 near Potrero Road and Westlake Boulevard.

A male, 31, was arrested for violating a domestic violence court order at 11:40 a.m. Aug. 9 in the 3900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol: a female, 22, at 1:40 a.m. Aug. 7 at Winding Lane and Stoneybrook Lane; a male, 28, at 3:30 a.m. Aug. 7 in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard; a female, 20, at 2:38 a.m. July 31 along Westlake Boulevard, south of Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A male, 36, was involved in a hit-and-run traffic accident on July 26 in the 2600 block of Townsgate Road.

A home burglary occurred between July 13 and 15 in the 1200 block of Canyon Rim Circle. Two cellphones were stolen.

A thief stole cash and other property valued at $3,700 from a business on Aug. 5 or 6 in the 3600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

An electronic key reader was removed from a door on Aug. 9 or 10 at Chase Bank, 3960 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.

A thief stole a cash bank deposit of $2,528.89 on Aug. 6 in the 100 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

A burglary occurred at Ralphs, 3963 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., around 5:30 p.m. Aug. 6.

A person purchased a stolen cellphone from a crook on July 29 in the 200 block of Hampshire Road.

Property was stolen and signs were vandalized on July 30 or 31 at the following locations: two incidents along the 3900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; at Cascade Avenue and N. Westlake Boulevard.

Property was stolen from a locked vehicle between Aug. 6 and 9 in the 2400 block of Townsgate Road.

Two pit bulls killed a pet rabbit after chewing through a wood fence on the night of Aug. 8 in the 1000 block of Ashford Court.
