Oakbrook Bible Church’s inaugural Vacation Bible School has been called a success.

More than 70 children attended SonQuest Rainforest VBS at the church.

The program was offered free of charge to ensure all children in the community, regardless of economic background, had an opportunity to attend.

The week included games, crafts, songs, snack-making, piñatas and water balloons.

The program wrapped up with a community family picnic and pie contest on Aug. 15 at Thousand Oaks Community Park. For more information, go to www.oakbrookbiblechurch.org.
