Get registered, so you can be sure to vote Nov. 2
This November, America’s future is at stake. I encourage everyone of age to get out there and vote Nov. 2. But first learn what freedoms you’ve lost, which have been eroding away over many decades. Remember, every time you are taxed, it takes away your freedom.
Our republic is on the brink of collapse, and government is spiraling out of control. Congress is spending our money when they don’t even read the bills they’re voting for!
So taxes keep rising, which means consumers will have less money to spend, which will drive down more businesses, which will lay off more workers, which will send more homeowners into foreclosure.
Instead, Congress should cut spending in half and sharply reduce regulations and taxes on businesses to duplicate the quick recovery from the depression of 1920, which no one ever talks about.
We need to send a message to the politicians in this country: “Clean up your act and listen to the voters. Abide by the Constitution, which you took an oath to uphold. You’re representing us, not special interests and your personal agendas.”
Thankfully, there’s a new tea party caucus in Washington, led by U.S. Rep. Michele Bachman (R-Minn.). They will help us communicate with the media. Hopefully more and more congressmen will join this caucus, which will mean they understand we’re serious about returning to constitutionally limited government and fiscal responsibility.
Please vote on Nov. 2. If you’re not registered, pick up a form at the post office and send it in right away; they must receive it by Oct. 18.
If you don’t vote, you have no right to complain.
