The 2010-11 Ventura County grand jury has been selected.

The members are Frank Allison, Eva Cisneros (Camarillo), Donald Cody, Frank Derengowski (Simi Valley), Donna Gaier, David Gale (Camarillo), David Hanson, Lidia Harrison, Richard Hawley (Thousand Oaks), Kenneth Hess, Ellen Klope, Henry Norton, Linda Nugent, Richard Parker (Simi Valley), Alec Pringle, Jose Saenz Jr., Benjamin Saiz and Steven Weiss (Simi Valley).

The foreman is Robert Peskay of Moorpark.

The grand jury investigates and reports on the affairs of local government entities within the county. It is a civil oversight body whose primary role is to assess the performance of governmental agencies and officials and to publish findings and recommendations in an annual report to the public.
