Supervisor Linda Parks will host the seventh in the Quarterly Dinner Series at 7 p.m. Wed., Aug. 4 at Tuscany Il Ristorante, 968 S. Westlake Blvd., Ste. 4, Westlake Village.

Eddy Hartenstein, publisher and CEO of the Los Angeles Times, will present a discussion about the future of newspapers. He will speak on the challenges and constraints faced by newspapers.

Hartenstein is also the chair of Sirius XM Radio and former chair/CEO of DirecTV.

The event is open to the public by reservation. The cost is $35.
