The New Shul of the Conejo will host its first community event, Shabbat Under the Stars, at 5:30 p.m. Fri., July 30 in the amphitheater at Oak Canyon Community Park, 5600 Holleytree Drive, Oak Park.

Participants should bring a picnic dinner. Attendees will be able to greet the new board of trustees headed by Jay Laifman.

Cantor Kenny Ellis will lead the singing with piano accompaniment. Rabbi Gershon Weissman will bless a new bride and groom, Arielle Wolin and David Schectman.
