Learning about life in days gone by
TASTES BETTER THAN FROZEN–Eddie Nash, 7, of T.O., left, and Matthew Meredith, 5, of Moorpark use tools to squeeze juice from lemons. The boys attended the recent Pioneer Jamboree at Stagecoach Inn Museum. The historical family festival included hands-on activities to help young people experience what life was like before modern conveniences. It included gold panning, lemon squeezing, pioneer games, storytelling and live music. WENDY PIERRO/Acorn Newspapers
