There’s something you don’t see every day


SIMPLE AS ONE, TWO, THREE—A Newbury Park U-6 softball squad turned an unassisted triple play during the first annual Jessica Roberts Softball Tournament in Woodland Hills. Newbury Park’s Sarah Moore, pictured lying down in front, completed the remarkable feat against Seaside Black of Oxnard when, with the bases loaded, she caught a pop fly, stepped on second base for a force out and then ran to first before the baserunner could retreat for the third and final out.
