Newbury Park

A male, 37, possessed eight clear plastic baggies filled with methamphetamine and a digital scale. The subject, who was also under the influence of a controlled substance, was arrested at 6:30 p.m. June 11 in the 4200 block of Dalewood Circle. A 45-year-old male at the scene was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possessing methamphetamine and four glass smoking pipes.

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 40, at 12:20 a.m. June 11 in the 4400 block of Via Juanita (subject was involved in a hit-andrun accident with injury); a female, 21, at 1:50 a.m. June 12 in the 800 block of N. Wendy Drive; a male, 19, at 2 a.m. June 13 at Combs and Beech roads.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a male, 31, at 12:10 p.m. June 14 along the northbound 101 Freeway, near Ventu Park Road; a male, 41, at 9:25 a.m. June 11 in the 200 block of Lynn Oaks Avenue (subject also possessed drug paraphernalia); a male, 52, at 6:30 p.m. June 11 in the 4200 block of Dalewood Circle; a female, 47, at 7:45 p.m. June 11 in the 4200 block of Dalewood Circle; a female, 43, at 2:30 p.m. June 17 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; a male, 52, at 2:30 p.m. June 17 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (subject possessed methamphetamine).

A female, 24, was arrested for possessing methamphetamine at 2:30 p.m. June 10 in the 4000 block of San Luis Street.

A male, 33, and a female, 30, were arrested for possessing and transporting marijuana for sale at 6 p.m. June 6 in the 3400 block of Old Conejo Road.

A female, 46, was cited for stealing prescription medication at 4:30 p.m. June 15 in the 1000 block of Winfield Street.

Two females, 25 and 18, committed a burglary around 6:25 p.m. June 13 in the 2600 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

A burglary occurred between June 9 and 11 in the 200 block of El Cielo.

A grand theft occurred between June 10 and 14 in the 2100 block of Corporate Center Drive.

A petty theft occurred on June 10 or 11 in the 800 block of Cypress Street.

Property was vandalized between June 9 and 11 in the 2900 block of Molly Court.

A male, 30, was arrested for petty theft and being drunk in public at 10:44 p.m. June 17 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road.

A male, 29, was arrested for possessing burglary tools at 3 a.m. June 14 in the 3300 block of Holloway Street.

A $500 mailbox was damaged between 5 and 6:45 p.m. June 12 in the 1100 block of Golden Crest Avenue.

A petty theft occurred between 1 and 1:10 p.m. June 9 in the 2800 block of Borchard Road.

A female, 27, was arrested for lying about her identity at 2:10 a.m. June 14 at Buckeye Place and Holloway Street.

Property was damaged on June 16 or 17 along the west end of O’Leary Court.

Graffiti defaced property on June 10 or 11 in the 600 block of Paseo Esmerelda.

Vehicle break-ins occurred at the following locations: on June 14 or 15 in the 900 block of Newbury Road (unlocked); on June 13 or 14 in the 900 block of Cayo Grande Court (unlocked); on June 7 or 8 in the 2800 block of Denise Street (a stolen access card was used to buy food); between 4:30 and 5 p.m. June 10 in the 2700 block of Teller Road (unlocked); on June 10 or 11 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; between 3 and 6:30 a.m. June 16 in the 1100 block of Golden Crest Avenue; on June 12 or 13 in the first block of E. Magellan Avenue (unlocked); on June 12 or 13 in the 100 block of Montenegro Circle (burglar used garage door opener in vehicle to steal more property in the garage).

Thousand Oaks

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 23, at 3:15 a.m. June 12 in the 700 block of Bright Star Street; a male, 57, at 11:06 p.m. June 12 along Thousand Oaks Boulevard, east of Hodencamp Road; a male, 41, at 1:30 a.m. June 13 at Hampshire Road and Lakefield Road; a male, 51, at 9:35 a.m. June 16 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road; a male, 50, at 11:52 p.m. June 17 along Houston Drive, north of Hillcrest Drive.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a male, 40, at 10:25 p.m. June 16 in the 300 block of Avenida de Los Arboles; a male, 22, at 7:05 p.m. June 15 in the 1400 block of Warwick Avenue (subject possessed drug paraphernalia); a male, 49, at 9:50 p.m. June 15 in the 3900 block of Verde Vista Drive.

A male, 47, strangled, kicked and punched his wife around 2:15 a.m. June 15 in the 3600 block of Calle Florencia.

A male, 20, battered his wife around 9:30 a.m. June 15 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A male, 51, was arrested for battery at 9:20 a.m. May 31 in the 3500 block of Lang Ranch Parkway.

A male, 21, was cited for battery, vandalism and petty theft June 16 at the East County Sheriff’s Station for crimes committed June 7 in the 100 block of Tarkio Street.

A male, 18, was arrested for harboring a juvenile and the juvenile’s infant baby in his apartment with knowledge that he was violating a domestic violence restraining order. The subject, who also possessed a glass methamphetamine pipe with burnt residue, was arrested at 8:30 a.m. June 17 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

A male, 19, was arrested for the possession, manufacturing or selling of dangerous weapons; possession of drug paraphernalia; and possession of marijuana at 9:25 a.m. June 17 in the 2100 block of Markham Avenue.

A male, 23, was arrested for possessing two hits of LSD, hashish, hydrocodone and several medications without prescriptions at 10:56 a.m. June 17 in the 1400 block of Northwood Parkway.

A female, 20, committed a burglary and grand theft around 5:25 p.m. June 13 in the 2600 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A home burglary occurred on June 14 in the 900 block of Calle Castano.

A home was burglarized on June 10 or 11 in the 200 block of Scarborough Street.

A business was burglarized around 2:35 a.m. June 15 in the 4500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A burglar broke into and stole property from a gym locker between 12:30 and 2 p.m. June 16 in the 100 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Property was stolen from a front yard on June 15 or 16 in the 3100 block of Calle Quebracho.

A petty theft occurred around noon on June 11 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Bicycles were stolen at the following locations: between 10 and 10:30 p.m. June 15 in the 400 block of Havenside Avenue; on June 13 or 14 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue; on June 13 or 14 in the 2400 block of Vista Wood Court.

A petty theft occurred between 5 and 6 p.m. June 14 in the 1000 block of El Segundo Drive.

About $500 in cash was stolen from Radio Shack at 173 N. Moorpark Road around 8:50 p.m. June 15.

Graffiti defaced property on June 14 or 15 in the 1600 block of Calle Zafiro.

A female, 25, was arrested for petty theft and possessing burglary tools at 9:55 p.m. June 11 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 18, was driving with a license plate that did not belong to him, and he was arrested for possession of stolen property at 8:45 p.m. June 16 at Moorpark Road and Hillcrest Drive.

A female, 51, was arrested for petty theft at 9 a.m. June 17 in the 1400 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A male, 24, was cited for petty theft at 4:40 p.m. June 17 in the 300 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A female, 18, stole an item from Macy’s at 590 W. Hillcrest Drive around 1:40 p.m. June 13.

A female, 20, was cited for shoplifting from Ross at 396 N. Moorpark Road at 5:53 p.m. June 12.

A vehicle was vandalized on June 10 between 2:45 and 5:30 a.m. June 10 in the 1700 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

Five males between the ages of 24 and 43 were cited for gambling in public at 12:05 p.m. June 16 at Royal Oaks Drive and Hampshire Road. A sixth male, 20, was arrested for destroying evidence, lying about his identity and possessing marijuana.

For drinking alcohol in public and lying about his identity, a male, 32, was arrested at 4:15 p.m. June 12 in the 3000 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Annoying telephone calls were made between April 13 and June 10 in the 1600 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 18, was cited for drinking alcohol in public at 6:20 p.m. June 11 in the 100 block of Oak View Drive.

Westlake/T.O.

A male, 23, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:35 a.m. June 12 on the southbound 101 Freeway, south of Westlake Boulevard.

A male, 20, was arrested for grand theft at Sports Authority at 120 S. Westlake Blvd. at 5:40 p.m. June 17.

A vehicle break-in occurred on June 15 in the 3000 block of Townsgate Road, and also on June 14 in the 5200 block of Lakeview Canyon Road.

Property was stolen from unlocked vehicles between 1:10 and 1:30 a.m. June 11 along W. Sierra Drive.

A male, 18, was arrested for receiving known stolen property at 2 a.m. June 11 along W. Sierra Drive.

An intoxicated male, 25, tried to force his way into a home that he thought was his, and he was arrested for being drunk in public at 3:30 a.m. June 12 in the 1200 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.
