Buena Vista Hospice will host the fifth annual Butterfly Remembrance Ceremony at 10 a.m. Sat., July 10 at Triunfo Community Park, Triunfo Canyon Road at Tamarack Street, Thousand Oaks.

Each year, hospice families and the community are invited to join the Buena Vista staff for an annual remembrance ceremony with poetry, music, prayer, stories and a live release of 500 butterflies.

The ceremony honors the passing of loved ones and provides an outlet for grief.

The event is free to the public.
