Get some laughs and help the Kiwanis

Mark your calendars now or buy tickets to Comedy in the Conejo IV coming Sun., Aug. 8 to The Canyon, 28921 Roadside Drive, Agoura Hills.

The evening of fun and laughter is from 6 to 10 p.m. and will include live and silent auctions. The show starts at 7:30, but seats go fast.

The fourth annual event is a fundraiser for Kiwanis Club of Thousand Oaks Charitable Foundation and is sponsored by First California Bank and supported by the Acorn Newspapers,

It will feature master of ceremonies Frazer Smith and five comedians: Lisa Alvarado, Throwing Toasters, Quinn Dahle, Rudy Moreno and Louis Ashamallah.

Alvarado is a “Last Man (Woman) Standing” champion.

Advance tickets purchased by Aug. 1 are $30 each ($35 at the door) with a two-item minimum (combination of drinks, appetizer or dinner, totaling $15, tax and tip included).
