Planet Bravo’s tech camp returns to T.O.
PlanetBravo’s Technotainment Camp will be returning to Thousand Oaks for the first time since 2008. The camp will run for four weeks in June and July at the Colina Middle School Boys & Girls Club as well as at Chatsworth Hills Academy in July and August and nearly a dozen other locations across the greater Los Angeles area.
Founded in 2003, the camp combines ultramodern computer and technology courses with traditional camp games and outdoor activities.
The extensive curriculum includes classes in video game design, movie production, animation and robotics. Between work sessions, students can play games like kickball, capture the flag, ultimate Frisbee and ninesquare, a variation on the playground game four-square.
Children sign up for oneweek sessions, and attend camp Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.. Registration is open.
