Newbury Park

A male, 43, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at 1:25 p.m. May 10 in the 70 block of Boxthorn Avenue.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a male, 46, at 12:15 p.m. May 10 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (subject possessed cocaine and resisted arrest); a male, 23, at 2 a.m. May 11 at Wendy Drive and Camino Dos Rios; a female, 23, at 11:17 a.m. May 8 in the 3300 block of Kimber Drive (subject obstructed justice); a female, 47, at 8:15 p.m. May 8 along Lynn Road, south of the 101 Freeway; a male, 18, at 11:55 p.m. May 12 i n the 800 block of Boxthorn Avenue (subject resisted arrest and possessed a controlled substance).

A female, 41, was arrested for battering and injuring her spouse at 7:12 p.m. May 7 in the 1000 block of Newbury Road.

Home burglaries occurred at the following times and locations: between 10:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. May 12 in the 4200 block of Via Rio; on May 10 in the 200 block of Nellie Court; on May 9 in the 3900 block of Santa Tomas Place; around 12:40 p.m. May 12 in the 4200 block of Via Encanto (attempted).

A female, 33, was arrested at 10:45 p.m. May 9 for stealing more than $400 in merchandise from Kohl’s, 1960 Newbury Road, and possessing fraudulent identification.

A male, 24, committed a residential burglary, commercial burglary and forgery in the 4900 block of Via Santana on May 11.

A male, 22, was arrested for obstructing justice at 1:30 a.m. May 8 in the 3000 block of Theresa Drive.

A male, 26, was cited for a hitand run traffic accident at 11:55 p.m. May 7 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A purse was stolen from an unsecured vehicle at Amgen and later recovered at a nearby restaurant on May 10.

A male, 19, was cited for possessing Xanax without a prescription at 1:20 a.m. May 7 in the 200 block of Acacia Drive.

A petty theft occurred on May 8 or 9 in the 900 block of Rancho Conejo Boulevard.

Two 27-year-old males were cited for soliciting door-to-door without a permit at 3:40 p.m. May 8 in the 2900 block of Molly Court.

Property was stolen from a locked storage unit on May 6 or 7 in the 2500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Property was stolen from a garage on May 8 or 9 in the 2200 block of Mapleleaf Avenue.

Vehicle break-ins occurred at the following locations: on May 5 or 6 in the 200 block of Cloudcrest Court; on May 6 or 7 in the 200 block of Dickenson Avenue; on May 5 or 6 in the 3900 block of Angeline Street (two incidents on block); on May 9 in the 500 block of Martha Drive; on May 9 in the 900 block of Golden Crest Avenue (unlocked); on May 7 or 8 in the 3800 block of Lesser Drive.

A $500 vehicle window was broken on May 11 in the 1200 block of Newbury Road.

A vandal shattered windows of two vehicles between 2 and 6 a.m. May 10 in the 3400 block of Bear Creek Drive.

Thousand Oaks

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a female, 34, at 8:21 a.m. May 5 at Los Robles Hospital (subject involved in traffic accident at Janss Road and Young Avenue); a male, 27, at 2:25 a.m. May 10 at Laurie Lane and Brazil Street (subject resisted arrest); a female, 18, at 5:21 p.m. May 5 on eastbound Memorial Parkway, west of Regent Avenue; a male, 26, at 10:15 a.m. April 28 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a male, 43, at 10:10 a.m. May 6 in the 1300 block of Calle Tulipan; a male, 43, at 10:30 a.m. May 6 in the 1300 block of Calle Tulipan (subject lied to police about his identity); a male, 22, at 4:35 a.m. May 7 at Calle Jazmin and Brush Hill Road (police needed to subdue uncooperative subject with a stun gun); a male, 46, at 1:15 p.m. Feb. 16 in the 2700 block of Calle Bienvenido.

A 30-year-old male was arrested for battering and injuring his wife at 6:15 p.m. May 8 in the 1200 block of La Peresa Drive.

A female, 41, was arrested for petty theft and possessing a controlled substance at 3:35 p.m. May 9 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A female, 18, was cited for stealing merchandise valued at $120 from J.C. Penney, 280 W. Hillcrest Drive, at 8:50 p.m. May 8.

A 48-year-old male was arrested for burglary from two businesses at 6:05 p.m. May 7 in the 600 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A female, 39, stole merchandise around 5 p.m. May 8 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A female, 43, was cited for petty theft at 7:30 p.m. May 6 in the 2700 block of Agoura Road.

Groceries were stolen from a street curb between 9 and 11:50 a.m. May 8 in the 1300 block of Tierra Drive.

A male, 18, was cited for igniting dangerous fireworks at 3:05 a.m. May 8 at Warwick Avenue and Gainsborough Road.

A vehicle break-in occurred on May 6 in the 1300 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

Property was stolen from unlocked vehicles at the following locations: on May 10 or 11 in the 2600 block of Rikkard Drive; on May 10 or 11 in the 2900 block of Rikkard Drive; on May 10 or 11 in the 2800 block of Rikkard Drive; between 9:45 and 10:30 p.m. May 11 in the 100 block of E. Sidlee Street; between 2 and 5 a.m. May 7 in the 300 block of Pepperwood Court; on May 3 or 4 in the 3000 block of Poppy Court.

A home burglary occurred between April 20 and 23 in the 3200 block of Los Robles Road.

A petty theft occurred between 11 and 11:15 a.m. May 8 in the 100 block of E. Janss Road.

Graffiti defaced property at the following locations: on May 11 or 12 in the 2300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; on May 11 or 12 in the 3200 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; on May 7 or 8 in the 300 block of S. Moorpark Road (gang-related).

Westlake/T.O.

A male, 34, was cited for battery at 11:15 p.m. May 5 in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

A vehicle break-in occurred between 3 and 5 p.m. May 7 in the 100 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.
