Go to sleep
Not only is less sleep linked to increased likelihood of getting a cold, the more efficiently a person sleeps the healthier they will be, according to researchers at Carnegie Mellon University.
People who are asleep less than 92 percent of their time in bed are 5½ times more likely to become ill than those whose efficiency is 98 percent or more. It’s just like mother always said: You need your rest.
The results of the Carnegie Mellon study indicate that seven to eight hours of sleep per night is a reasonable target.
