A charity fashion show and silent auction, Threads for Red, will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Sat., May 22 at the Newbury Park High School gym, 456 Reino Road, Newbury Park.

The event is organized by NPHS students, some of whom will be models in the fashion show. Clothes are on loan from local stores, and the auction items are donated.

Food will be provided.

Proceeds will be donated to the Global Fund for AIDS relief to African patients.

Tickets will be sold at the door and are $5 for students and $7 for adults
