Newbury Park

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 29, at 2:35 a.m. April 19 on Michael Drive, west of Borchard Road; a female, 21, at 2:29 a.m. April 17 along Greenmeadow Avenue, north of Lynn Road.

A male, 19, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance, possessing Vicodin without a prescription, possessing drug paraphernalia and littering at 4:07 p.m. April 16 at E. Kelley and Newbury roads.

A male, 28, and a female, 19, who used to date battered each other around 9:15 p.m. April 19 in the first block of Edgar Court.

A classroom window at Walnut Elementary School was broken on April 20.

A male, 22, was arrested for stealing utility services at 11:30 a.m. April 19 in the 3000 block of Theresa Drive.

Two Amgen employees, males ages 23 and 44, were arrested for stealing $3,600 of property at the business at 7:58 p.m. April 15.

A juvenile attempted to commit a petty theft at Kohl’s at 1960 Newbury Road around 2:15 p.m. April 20.

A female, 19, was cited for petty theft at 4:24 p.m. April 20 in the 200 block of Walter Avenue for a crime committed in the 1900 block of Newbury Road.

A petty theft occurred at Kohl’s around 5:30 p.m. April 20.

A petty theft occurred on April 11 or 12 in the 300 block of Donlin Road.

Gang graffiti was drawn on a home’s front door on April 15 or 16 in the 500 block of Avenida del Platino.

A table saw, golf clubs, bottle of cologne and barbecue lighter were stolen from a garage and unlocked vehicle between 3 and 7 a.m. April 10 in the 3900 block of Greenwood Street.

A $200 electric water heater was stolen from a home between April 17 and 19 in the 1200 block of Newbury Road.

A home burglary occurred on April 22 in the 2700 block of Michael Drive.

The front bumper of a pest control company’s vehicle was stolen on April 21 or 22 in the 2600 block of Lavery Court.

Property was stolen from unlocked vehicles at the following locations: April 15 or 16 in the 1900 block of Shoemaker Lane; April 9 or 10 in the 3800 block of Jake Court; April 11 or 12 in the 500 block of Paseo Grande (multiple vehicles).

A male, 27, was arrested for being drunk in public at 1:36 a.m. April 22 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road. A female, 21, was arrested on a similar charge at 5:30 a.m. April 17 in the 4900 block of Via Camino.

Thousand Oaks

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a female, 41, at 10:45 p.m. April 22 along Pleasant Way, south of Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a male, 32, at 2:15 a.m. April 23 in the 100 block of N. Moorpark Road; a female, 41, at 10:50 p.m. April 21 along Hillcrest Drive, east of Houston Drive; a male, 27, at 2:36 a.m. April 17 on the northbound 23 Freeway, north of Hillcrest Drive; a female, 48, at 1:50 p.m. April 17 at Janss Marketplace; a male, 40, at 7:25 p.m. April 18 on Fairview Road, south of Crescent Way.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a male, 26, at 11:10 p.m. April 20 in the 1200 block of Windsor Drive; a male, 28, at 6:20 p.m. April 15 in the 1600 block of Calle Diamonte.

A male, 49, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance at 8 p.m. April 21 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A female, 46, was arrested for being involved in a hit-and-run traffic accident with an injury at 3:40 p.m. April 20 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Auto Mall Drive.

A male, 24, was arrested for transporting marijuana and possessing more than 28.5 grams of the drug at 4:40 a.m. April 15 at Meadow View Court and Fremont Drive.

Two 19-year-old females were arrested for shoplifting from Macy’s at 590 W. Hillcrest Drive at 4:02 p.m. April 22 in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 18, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and petty theft at 6:30 p.m. April 16 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A female, 42, was cited for petty theft at 1:48 p.m. April 17 in the 4000 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A female, 39, stole goods from Vons at 1790 N. Moorpark Road around 10:15 a.m. April 20. A male, 19, was cited for shoplifting from the same Vons at 2:54 p.m. April 19.

A male, 39, was arrested for giving false information to police at 3:24 a.m. April 21 at Moorpark and Wilbur roads.

A male, 36, was cited for making harassing telephone calls at 9:30 a.m. April 7 in the 500 block of Irving Drive.

A male, 30, was arrested for possessing a knife hidden under his vest at 10:25 a.m. April 20 in the first block of W. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A 60-year-old female battered a hairstylist at a hair salon. When police arrived, they found her slurring her speech and unable to walk without assistance. The subject was arrested for disorderly conduct at 11:10 a.m. April 19 in the 700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Vehicle break-ins occurred at the following locations: April 21 or 22 in the 1700 block of E. Calle Artigas (unlocked); between 9 and 11:15 p.m. April 22 in the 2100 block of Calle Nardo; between 5:45 and 6:47 p.m. April 21 in the 100 block of N. Moorpark Road (the burglar used a stolen credit card from the incident); between April 13 and 16 in the 1600 block of Feather Avenue; between April 15 and 17 in the 300 block of Lombard Street; on April 11 or 12 in the 900 block of Vivian Circle (unlocked); April 14 or 15 (an iPod, portable DVD player and wallet were stolen from an unlocked vehicle); April 12 or 13 in the 3100 block of Starling Avenue (unlocked); between 3 and 4 a.m. April 18 in the 2600 block of Calle Abedul; April 18 in the 600 block of Calle Tulipan; April 17 or 18 in the 900 block of Calle Casttano; April 14 or 15 in the 1500 block of Feather Avenue; April 14 or 15 in the 1500 block of Adele Place; between 8 and 9:15 p.m. April 10 at the Westlake Korean Community Church on Lakefield Road.

A vehicle was vandalized on April 21 in the 1600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Two vehicles were vandalized April 14 or 15 in the 600 block of Avenida del Platino.

A vandal caused $900 in damage between April 12 and 14 in the 400 block of Calle del Prado.

Gang graffiti defaced several areas of Redwood Middle School on April 17 or 18.

Gang graffiti was discovered April 20 on a wall at Warwick Avenue and Wilbur Road.

A scoundrel attempted to acquire prescription drugs through forgery around 9:45 a.m. April 15 in the 1300 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A thief stole items from multiple mailboxes between April 8 and 10 in the 2000 block of Maricio Drive.

A burglar stole construction tools from an empty home being remodeled between April 17 and 19 in the 4100 block of Arrowhead Circle.

The Thousand Oaks Library at 1401 E. Janss Road had a men’s restroom defaced with gang graffiti on April 14.

A car and money were stolen on April 15 or 16 in the 1700 block of E. Avenida de Las Flores.

Money was stolen from multiple laundry coin boxes between April 16 and 19 in the 800 block of Charles Drive.

A business was burglarized and vandalized on April 19 or 20 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road.

Property was stolen from the YMCA on Moorpark Road between April 12 and 18.

Perfume bottles were stolen from Victoria’s Secret at The Oaks mall between April 16 and 18.

A home was burglarized between 8:15 and 10 p.m. April 16 in the 2200 block of Melford Court.

Wallets belonging to two store employees were stolen from a back office between 7 and 8:20 p.m. April 14 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Property was vandalized on April 21 in the 2400 block of Calle Gladiolo.

Shoplifting occurred at Nordstrom at 346 W. Hillcrest Drive between April 20 and 22.

Property was stolen from a patio on April 15 or 16 in the 2200 block of Moss Court.

A grand theft occurred on April 20 or 21 in the 1800 block of Montgomery Road.

Petty thefts occurred at the following locations: around 8 p.m. April 20 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; between 10:45 and 10:50 a.m. April 16 in the 300 block of Galsworthy Street; between 10 and 10:45 p.m. April 12 in the 1400 block of N. Moorpark Road; between 9 and 9:45 a.m. April 17 in the 1700 block of Burning Tree Drive.

A male, 29, was cited for drinking alcohol in public at 6:20 p.m. April 10 at Royal Oaks Drive and Hampshire Road. A male, 30, was cited for the same crime at 6:20 p.m. April 10 at Los Robles Road and Hampshire Road.

Westlake/T.O.

A male, 20, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:15 a.m. April 18 along the southbound 101 Freeway, south of Westlake Boulevard.

A female, 48, was cited for being involved in a hit-and-run traffic accident at 10:58 p.m. April 17 at Lakeview Canyon Road and Falling Star Avenue. The subject knocked over a street sign and fled.

A 23-year-old female was arrested for grand theft at 3:45 p.m. April 15 in the 2700 block of Agoura Road.

A home burglary was attempted between April 16 and 19 in the 1900 block of Stonesgate Street.

Property was stolen from an unlocked garage on April 19 or 20 in the 2000 block of Woodburn Avenue.

A thief stole several golf clubs and a golf club on display at Sports Authority at 120 S. Westlake Blvd. just before 1 p.m. April 14.

A business was burglarized on April 17 or 18 in the 4500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A trespasser entered a business around 5 p.m. April 20 in the 2900 block of Townsgate Road.
