Newbury Park

A robber battered someone before stealing that person’s property between 7:15 and 7:30 p.m. at Michael and Virginia drives.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a female, 40, at 9:35 a.m. April 11 in the 1300 block of Newbury Road; a male, 32, at 2:55 p.m. April 11 at Lynn and Ventu Park roads; a male, 28, at 2:45 p.m. April 11 at Lynn and Ventu Park roads.

A thief fraudulently used a credit card to purchase items at Target at 2705 Teller Road on March 28. The crime was recently reported.

Fraudulent credit card use occurred on April 9 in the 900 block of Lawrence Drive.

A male, 44, was arrested April 14 for stealing property at Amgen.

A male, 19, committed burglaries on March 24 in the 2700 block of Teller Road.

An 18-year-old female was cited for shoplifting at 7:20 p.m. April 8 in the 1900 block of Newbury Road.

A male, 49, was arrested for obstructing justice at 5:25 p.m. April 8 at Lynn and Ventu Park roads.

A home burglary occurred between 2 and 6 a.m. April 7 in the 200 block of S. McKnight Road.

A business was burglarized between April 1 and 6 in the 1100 block of Rancho Conejo Boulevard.

A thief stole a $1,500 gas nozzle from a Chevron gas station at 2870 Camino Dos Rios between 12:09 and 12:15 p.m. April 12.

Keys were stolen off a desk at Newbury Park High School on Sept. 9. The crime was recently reported.

Graffiti defaced property between April 8 and 10 in the 100 block of Academy Drive.

Multiple mailboxes were smashed on April 9 or 10 in the 800 block of American Oaks Avenue.

A $350 vehicle window was broken on April 9 or 10 in the first block of N. Fallbrook Avenue.

Vehicle break-ins occurred at the following locations: on April 12 or 13 in the 1800 block of Hillcrest Drive; on April 11 or 12 in the 800 block of Mitchell Drive; on April 9 or 10 in the 3900 block of Camphor Avenue; on April 9 or 10 in the first block of San Lucas Avenue (unlocked); on April 9 or 10 along Dunaway Drive, east of Clearwater Creek Drive; on April 7 in the 1400 block of Lawrence Drive.

The following subjects were arrested for being drunk in public: a male, 21, at 5:55 p.m. April 12 at Reino Road and Kimber Drive; a male, 21, at 11:10 p.m. April 9 in the 3300 block of Gerald Drive; a male, 20, at 11:20 p.m. April 9 in the 3300 block of Gerald Drive.

Thousand Oaks

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a female, 38, at 11:25 p.m. April 10 in the 300 block of Somerset Circle; a male, 45, at 10:02 p.m. April 6 at Auto Mall Drive and Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a male, 26, at 4:20 a.m. April 14 at Pennsfield Place and E. Wilbur Road; a male, 26, at 5:25 p.m. April 9 at Los Feliz and Duesenberg drives; a male, 50, at 6 p.m. April 9 in the 500 block of Westminster Street; a male, 46, at 5:40 p.m. April 9 in the 500 block of Westminster Street; a female, 44, at 11:25 p.m. April 10 in the 3000 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard (subject also destroyed evidence); a male, 46, at 11:25 p.m. April 10 in the 3000 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a male, 19, at 6:55 p.m. April 8 in the 3200 block of Heatherglow Street (subject possessed a smoking device and eight Xanax pills without a prescription); a male, 21, at 6:55 p.m. April 8 in the 3200 block of Heatherglow Street.

A female, 20, was arrested for stealing a vehicle, possessing drug paraphernalia and petty theft at 2:05 p.m. April 13 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 22, was arrested for possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia at 3:25 a.m. April 14 in the first block of E. Wilbur Road.

A male, 29, battered and used a stun gun on his estranged wife around 10:45 a.m. April 8 in the 900 block of Calle Margarita.

A male, 53, was arrested for domestic battery at 1:10 a.m. April 9 in the 200 block of S. Rancho Road.

A female, 33, was cited for battery at 4:45 p.m. April 9 in the 2200 block of Los Feliz Drive.

A battery occurred around 5:30 p.m. April 12 in the 1000 block of Burtonwood Avenue.

A female, 18, was arrested for stealing a vehicle at 4:07 p.m. April 11 in the first block of W. Avenida de Los Arboles.

A female, 20, was arrested for petty theft, possessing burglary tools and damaging a vehicle at 10:30 p.m. April 10 in the 300 block of W. Avenida de Las Flores.

Two females, 19 and 18, stole property around 6:40 p.m. April 7 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Two 18-year-old females stole clothes around 2:45 p.m. April 9 in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 19, stole property on March 23 in the 1300 block of Moorpark Road. He was arrested April 8 in Santa Paula.

Property was stolen from an unlocked storage area on April 6 or 7 in the 500 block of Serento Circle.

People ate and drank at Bada Sushi at 105 Brazil St. without paying a bill of more than $400 between 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. April 6.

Jewelry was stolen from a home between April 2 and 9 in the 2100 block of Hillsbury Road.

A home was burglarized between April 1 and 11 in the 1700 block of Orinda Court.

A home burglary occurred between 10 and 10:45 a.m. April 12 in the first block of Marimar Street.

A business was burglarized on April 10 or 11 in the 1100 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

A business was burglarized on April 9 or 10 in the 500 block of Marin Street.

Property was stolen on April 9 or 10 in the 4000 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A grand theft occurred at Best Buy at 390 N. Moorpark Road between April 6 and 8.

A grand theft occurred on April 12 in the 200 block of Kevin Street.

A Shell gas station at 395 Hampshire Road was burglarized around 2:10 p.m. April 9.

A bicycle locked to a stair rail was stolen and replaced with a different bicycle on April 8 or 9 in the 2800 block of Los Robles Road.

Property was vandalized between April 12 and 14 in the 400 block of Calle Del Prado.

Vehicle break-ins occurred at the following locations: on April 6 or 7 in the 200 block of Calle Jazmin (burglar cut through a convertible top); on April 8 or 9 in the 900 block of Woodlawn Drive; between 6:30 and 8:10 p.m. April 10 in the 2800 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; between 6:50 and 9:15 p.m. April 10 in the 2600 block of Townsgate Road; on April 6 or 7 in the 600 block of Calle Pensamiento; between 12:30 and 1 p.m. April 8 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A male, 18, and a female, 19, were cited for drinking and possessing alcohol as minors at 10:40 p.m. April 9 at Los Robles Road and Live Oak Street.

Westlake/T.O. A male, 25, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at 2:10 a.m. April 13 on the southbound 101 Freeway at Lindero Canyon Road.

A thief smashed a vehicle window to steal a purse containing money, an iPod, credit cards and identification cards between 9:15 and 10:15 p.m. April 10 in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

Three vehicle break-ins occurred on April 10 or 11 between the 500 and 700 blocks of Via Colinas.

A female, 24, stole about $142 worth of merchandise from Rite Aid at 3825 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. around 2:20 p.m. April 6.

A home burglary occurred on April 10 in the 4100 block of Woodlane Drive.

Property was stolen off a front porch on April 8 or 9 in the 1500 block of Fairmount Road.

Gardening equipment valued at more than $400 was stolen between noon and 12:30 p.m. April 12 in the 4100 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A bottle of alcohol was stolen from Ralphs at 3963 Thousand Oaks Blvd. between 7:50 and 7:55 p.m. April 8. When confronted by the store manager, the thief pushed the manager to the ground and left.

A 78-year-old female was cited for shoplifting at 3 p.m. April 14 in the 100 block of Promenade Way.

Property was stolen from an unlocked car between 4 and 5 p.m. April 13 in the 1200 block of E. Potrero Road.
