Prostate cancer treatments to be focus of seminar
In a free program, representatives from UCLA will present the latest options in prostate cancer treatments and research from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tues., April 27 at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, Tamkin Auditorium, 757 Westwood Plaza, Los Angeles.
Light refreshments will be served at 5:30 p.m.
Topics will include the latest clinical trials for prostate cancer patients and robotic surgery as a treatment option.
The program is sponsored by the UCLA Department of Urology and the Specialized Program of Research Excellence in Prostate Cancer.
The speakers are Dr. Matthew Rettig, associate professor-inresidence, Department of Medicine Division of HematologyOncology and Department of Urology, and medical director of the Prostate Cancer Program; and Dr. Robert Reiter, professor, Department of Urology, and director of the Prostate Cancer Program.
There is no charge for the seminar. The parking fee is $11.
