Newbury Park

A 49-year-old female attempted to push her car, which had run out of gas, into a gas station. She displayed symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol. During a DUI investigation, the subject punched a deputy and resisted being handcuffed. Once she was in a patrol car, she kicked the vehicle window. She was arrested at 12:10 a.m. March 16 in the 500 block of Ventu Park Road.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a male, 49, at 3 p.m. March 18 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road; a male, 29, at 8:35 p.m. March 13 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; a male, 22, at 3:50 p.m. March 13 at Teller Road and Lawrence Drive (subject possessed dextroamphetamine).

A female, 53, battered and injured her ex-husband and then picked up and threw an instrument at him that could have caused great bodily harm around 7:30 p.m. March 12 in the 100 block of Heavenly Valley Road. The subject, who was also charged with assault with a deadly weapon, was arrested at 7:55 p.m. that night in the 200 block of Acacia Lane.

A female, 35, was arrested for grand theft by embezzlement at 1:10 p.m. March 11 at Target, 2705 Teller Road, where she had worked.

A male, 45, was arrested for burglary and possessing a counterfeit driver’s license at 1:15 p.m. March 15 in the 2200 block of Michael Drive.

A female, 35, was arrested for burglary and possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia at 10:45 a.m. March 11 in the 2900 block of Cottonwood Court.

A female, 22, was cited for selling food items from a pushcart without a license at 3 p.m. March 13 in the 600 block of Avenida del Platino.

A 35-year-old female was arrested for prowling and soliciting without a permit at 10:15 a.m. March 17 in the 1900 block of Chalon Street.

A male, 19, was cited for possessing drug paraphernalia and marijuana at 10:40 p.m. March 11 at American Oaks Avenue and Avocado Court.

For selling cleaning products without a permit, a male, 27, was cited at 12:40 p.m. March 17 in the 200 block of Beech Road.

A male, 50, was arrested for being drunk in public at 8 a.m. March 15 at Lynn Road and Rancho Dos Vientos.

A male, 21, was arrested for being drunk in public at 9:04 p.m. March 12 in the 3300 block of Kimber Drive.

A UPS package was stolen off a front porch between 6:17 and 9:45 p.m. Feb. 1 in the 2000 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. The crime was recently reported.

Shoplifters stole property from Vons at 2100 Newbury Road around 3:20 p.m. March 17.

Shoplifting was attempted at Loehmann’s, 2665 W. Hillcrest Drive, around 7:10 p.m. March 16.

A home was burglarized between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. March 17 in the 100 block of Via Ricardo.

A grand theft occurred on March 12 or 13 in the 1200 block of W. Lynn Road.

Two burglars attempted to steal property around 4:35 a.m. March 16 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Items from a purse were stolen between 11:45 a.m. and 12:05 p.m. March 16 in the 700 block of N. Wendy Drive.

A vehicle was stolen between March 12 and 16 in the 4000 block of Blackwood Street.

Property was stolen from an unlocked vehicle between 10:30 and 10:45 p.m. March 12 in the first block of Via Monte.

Thousand Oaks

A male, 24, committed bank robberies on Jan. 21 at Wells Fargo at 1760 E. Avenida de Los Arboles and on March 12 at the First California Bank at 11 E. Hillcrest Drive. He was arrested at 5 p.m. March 15 in the 1500 block of Patricia Avenue in Simi Valley.

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a female, 37, at 3:40 p.m. March 12 at Hampshire Road and Foothill Drive (subject drove with a young daughter in vehicle and was involved in a collision with injuries); a male, 42, at 11:55 p.m. March 11 at Erbes Road, north of La Granada Drive; a male, 22, at 2:37 a.m. March 12 along Hillcrest Drive; a male, 24, at 4:13 a.m. March 15 at Moorpark Road and Camino Dos Palos (subject was asleep at the wheel of his vehicle at an intersection); a female, 44, at 4:40 p.m. March 13 along Erbes Road, north of Avenida de Los Arboles; a female, 49, at 8:45 p.m. March 13 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; a male, 21, at 6:56 a.m. March 14 at Kanan Road and Collingsworth Court.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a male, 40, at 11:45 a.m. March 16 in the 700 block of Combes Avenue (subject possessed a smoking device); a female, 45, at 8 p.m. March 12 in the 1800 block of Los Feliz Drive; a female, 20, at 10 p.m. March 12 (subject fled the scene by foot and lied about her identity); a male, 24, at 10 p.m. March 12 at Janss and Moorpark roads (subject obstructed justice); a male, 46, at 9:45 p.m. March 12 at Moorpark and Columbia roads; a female, 21, at 12:30 p.m. March 11 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road (subject also possessed syringes, illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia); a female, 35, at 7:45 p.m. March 11 in the 1500 block of Calle Zocalo.

A male, 21, was arrested for domestic battery at 9:10 p.m. March 14 in the 600 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

A male, 24, was arrested for hitting and injuring his live-in girlfriend at 5:30 a.m. March 13 in the 1800 block of Los Feliz Drive.

A male, 23, was cited for battery at 11:25 a.m. March 3 at the East County Sheriff’s Station. The crime occurred Feb. 14 in the 2300 block of Silver Spring Drive.

A male, 24, was cited for sexual battery March 4 at the East County Sheriff’s Station for a crime that occurred Feb. 14 in the 2300 block of Silver Spring Drive.

A 19-year-old male was arrested for elder abuse against his 83-year-old grandmother at 11:45 a.m. March 14 at Janss Road and Dover Avenue. The crime occurred on March 13 in the 1900 block of Burleson Avenue.

A female, 29, was cited for battering and injuring her boyfriend at 6:20 a.m. March 14 in the 500 block of Hampshire Road.

A female, 21, committed domestic battery around 8:30 p.m. March 14 in the 600 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

A male, 40, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for transportation or sale at 6:40 p.m. March 8 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

A male, 32, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sale at 6:40 p.m. March 8 in the 800 block of Warwick Avenue.

A male, 18, was arrested for possessing a glass smoking pipe with methamphetamine residue at 5:35 p.m. March 13 in the 1700 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

A male, 53, was arrested for two counts of grand theft at 9:40 a.m. March 15 in the 500 block of Gainsborough Road.

A male, 19, committed a burglary on March 7 in the 1400 block of Sapphire Dragon Street. He was arrested on March 18.

Home burglaries occurred at the following locations: between Feb. 14 and 20 in the 3300 block of Lanier Place (recently reported); on March 18 in the 200 block of Almon Drive; on March 11 or 12 in the 1300 block of Calle Bouganvilla.

Burglaries were attempted between 4:15 and 5:30 p.m. March 16 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A paycheck from a mailbox was stolen between Feb. 26 and March 9 in the 600 block of Benson Way.

Property was stolen from a construction site on March 17 or 18 in the 3200 block of S. Campus Drive.

Burglars attempted to break into a garage on March 14 or 15 in the 700 block of Calle Yucca.

Property from a front porch was stolen between March 14 and 16 in the 700 block of Mondego Place.

Property from a locked storage bin was stolen between March 12 and 15 in the 2000 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A burglary occurred on March 14 or 15 in the 2000 block of Los Feliz Drive.

A grand theft occurred on Feb. 25 at Lynn and Pecos roads.

A grand theft occurred on March 4 or 5 in the 600 block of McCloud Avenue.

A petty theft occurred between 1:20 and 1:35 p.m. March 12 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A shoplifter stole goods valued at $164.97 from Rite Aid at 3825 E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard between 10:10 and 10:20 a.m. March 11.

A male, 21, was cited for petty theft at 9:30 a.m. March 12 in the 500 block of Westminster Road.

For shoplifting and damaging property at Macy’s at The Oaks mall, an 18-year-old female was cited at 2:25 p.m. March 12.

Vehicle break-ins occurred at the following locations: between 2:15 and 6 p.m. March 18 in the 100 block of N. Moorpark Road; on March 15 or 16 in the 3200 block of Winterbrook Court (unlocked); on March 11 in the 2900 block of Camino Calandria; on March 11 or 12 at Skyline Drive, north of Los Robles Road (vehicle was also vandalized); on March 9 or 10 in the 2800 block of Hillman Street (unlocked).

A rock was thrown through a car window between 7:15 and 7:35 p.m. March 16 in the 1700 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Property was stolen from a golf course on March 12 or 13 in the 200 block of S. Moorpark Road.

Graffiti defaced property on March 15 or 16 in the 500 block of Marin Street.

A male, 21, was arrested for being drunk in public after he was found passed out on the Janss Marketplace parking garage floor around 3:40 a.m. March 18. The subject possessed a small amount of marijuana.

A male, 42, was arrested for being drunk in public at 2:25 a.m. March 18 at Hillcrest and Flittner drives.

An 18-year-old male was cited for throwing beer cans in the street at 3:25 a.m. March 12 in the 300 block of Westlake Vista Lane.

Westlake/T.O. A male, 31, was cited for driving under the influence of drugs at 12:30 p.m. March 12 at Townsgate Road and Westlake Boulevard.

A vehicle was vandalized when glue was injected into the keyholes on the night of Feb. 4 in the 100 block of Triunfo Canyon Road.

A grand theft occurred between June 8, 2009, and Dec. 16, 2009, in the 2500 block of Sandy Creek Drive.

A grand theft occurred between Sept. 1, 2008, and Dec. 31, 2008, in the 3800 block of Weatherly Circle. The crime was recently reported.
