All-star team named in basketball


BEST IN LEAGUE–The Ventura County Youth Basketball Conference has announced this year’s eighthgrade all-stars: Charlie Gallaher of Newbury Park; Aleksandr Abrams of Newbury Park; Blair Orr of Camarillo; Tommy Quinn of Camarillo; Elijah Wallace of Camarillo; Jacob Alonzo of Camarillo; Trevor Weston of Moorpark; Christian Meza of Moorpark, Chris Garvin of Conejo; and Joshua Erbes of Moorpark. The Most Valuable Player was Blair Orr.
