Students should have participated

I was delighted to see a new logo and that the city shopped locally and used Mustang Marketing.

But I was really disap pointed neither Andrew Powers or Mary Lech thought to throw this out to the local schools.

It would have made an excellent project for their art classes, and the only “cost” would have been some A grades for students, with perhaps a $500 prize to the winning school’s art program!

Considering all the budget cuts, dollar squeezing, staff cutting and so forth, it would be great if our city officials would think outside the box on occasion and come up with innovative solutions regarding their spending agendas.
