CLU will host a Haitian benefit
California Lutheran University and the Pacific Pearl Music Association will present a benefit concert for victims of the Haiti earthquake, “Love and Hope for Haiti,” from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sat., March 20 in CLU’s Samuelson Chapel, south of Olsen Road near Campus Drive, Thousand Oaks.
The Pacific Pearl Symphony Orchestra, the Thousand Oaks Chinese Folk Ensemble, the Yang Sheng Choir and The Dancing Strings, an all-strings chamber group, will perform classical, ethnic, folk instrumental and choral music.
Moorpark College’s Jazz Ensemble will also perform.
A minimum $10 tax-deductible donation is requested. All money will be donated to Haitian relief efforts.
