The Westlake High School Instrumental Music Department will run its annual sponsorship drive through Feb. 12. The program, titled “Making Music Happen,” has a goal of raising $7,000 in new corporate and business sponsorships.

The students are soliciting sponsorships and leads from businesses in their assigned areas within Westlake Village and surrounding areas. Sponsors will be acknowledged in the music department’s newsletters and concert programs, will have an advertisement published in the department’s yearbook and will be given the opportunity to post links on the department’s website.

Last year’s drive netted more than 30 new sponsors.
