Free football camps at Agoura High
The Agoura High football program and Proactive Sports will conduct a pair of free clinics on Feb. 14 and Feb. 21 at AHS.
The events, scheduled for Sundays, will run from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
Football drills will be supervised by Agoura varsity coach Charlie Wegher and his staff. Professional and college athletes are also expected to attend the clinics to assist with instruction.
Players in fourth through eighth grades are invited to attend. First-timers are also encouraged to take the field.
“Participating in youth and high school football isn’t just an opportunity to play a great game; it is an opportunity to learn some of life’s greatest lessons about leadership, integrity, teamwork, character and commitment,” Wegher said.
“Our camp provides the youth of our community a chance to learn from a staff of highly successful and experienced coaches, as well as current college and NFL players.”
In addition to the football instruction, Ryan Capretta, owner of Proactive Sports, will conduct speed, agility and quickness training drills with the kids.
