Challenges ‘facts and evidences’ of earlier letter
In response to Mr. Harrison (Jan.14 letters, “Beliefs in supreme beings frequently leads to hatred”), I’d like to say that King Solomon said, “The beginning of wisdom is the fear of God.”
I’m 88 years old. This earthly life is like a tale that’s told; 2,010 years ago Jesus died.
Who will profit most? See I Corinthians 15:19.
Mr. Harrison, I love you. I love the one, true God, creator of everything, and He has also given a love for others.
In your letter, you mention “facts and evidences,” but to which facts and evidences are you referring? Your letter generalizes about general scientific knowledge, about “the reasons behind many of the ‘awesome’ events that engendered dread among the ancients. . .”
Can there really be countless “truths”?
Is every question of human origin only to be answered by scientists who believe in the religion of evolution? Or can we not reason from facts–evolution is not based on facts, i.e. no fossils of crossover species exist nor can evolution be observed.
Every organic thing is incredibly detailed in composition, pointing logically to a well-organized design and therefore a designer. And this designer loves you. See John 3:16, Isaiah 9:6, John 1:13,14.
