The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura will host a free breast cancer connection seminar titled “Breast Cancer Reconstruction Options with Jay Granzow, MD” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thurs., Jan. 28 at 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village.

Participants will learn about the different types of breast reconstruction procedures available and the pros and cons of each type. The myths about procedures, recovery times and insurance coverage will be discussed.

Granzow is the assistant professor of surgery, division of plastic surgery, at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine and assistant chief of plastic surgery at Harbor UCLA Medical Center. He has trained extensively in breast reconstruction techniques,
