I want to thank the Acorn for writing the good editorial in your Dec. 31 edition (“A resolution worth keeping”).

And I also want to thank Emily Gonzales for her letter (“Let’s get along with all of the holiday greetings.”) It’s right on.

It’s okay to say Merry Christmas at Christmastime and Happy Thanksgiving at that holiday time.

We need to spread cheer throughout the year.
